Admissions & Discharges

Our nurses guide you through your pet's procedure day from start to finish.

  • Admission: They'll check your pet in, answer your questions, review fasting or medication instructions, and ensure your pet is settled comfortably.

  • Discharge: After the procedure, they'll go through home-care instructions, medications, feeding guidelines, and recovery expectations so you feel confident caring for your pet at home.

Free Dental Checks

Our nurses provide complimentary dental assessments to look for:

  • Tartar buildup

  • Gum inflammation

  • Bad breath

  • Broken or loose teeth

  • Early signs of dental disease

They can advise on home brushing, dental diets, and help tailor a plan for your pet's individual needs to keep their teeth looking and feeling wonderful.

Free Weight Checks

Whether your pet needs help losing weight or maintaining a healthy body condition, our nurses can:

  • Assess body condition and provide a universal score

  • Recommend appropriate diets

  • Provide feeding plans and progress tracking

  • Offer ongoing support and motivation

Weight checks are always free and can ben booked as often as needed.

Anal Gland Expression

Our nurses can gently and safely express your pet's anal glands if they are full or causing discomfort.  Common signs include scooting, licking, or a strong smell.

Suture (Stitch) Removal

For routine surgical wound care, our nursing team can remove sutures once healing is complete and ensure the incision is clean and healthy.

Flea Prevention Injection

Our nurses can administer long-acting flea injections for dogs.  This quick appointment helps keep your pet protected with minimal fuss.

Arthritis Injections

For pets on arthritis management plans, our nurses can administer scheduled arthritis injections to help reduce pain and support mobility.  These treatments are especially helpful for seniors or pets with chronic joint issues.

Nail Clips

A quick and stress-free nail trim helps keep your pet comfortable and prevents overgrown nails, splitting and mobility problems.

Post-Operative Checks

After surgery, our nurses perform follow-up checks to monitor healing, assess pain levels, remove bandages if needed, and answer any questions you may have during your pet's recovery.
